Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Month for the Month of February.
First Star – Leon Draisaitl (C, Edmonton Oilers)
- Draisaitl would lead the League in scoring for the month of February as he would record 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points in 14 games played for the Oilers. Draisaitl would also become the first player to record 100 points this season.
Second Star – Mika Zibanejad (C, New York Rangers)
- Zibanejad would be tied for first in the NHL with 11 goals, and would be second in scoring with 20 points in 15 games played for the Rangers. Zibanejad’s contributions would lead the Rangers to a League leading 11 wins for the month of February.
Third Star – David Pastrnak (RW, Boston Bruins)
- For the month of February Pastrnak would pace the Bruins with 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points in 14 games played. Pastrnak would also record an NHL best four game winning goals for the month.
