Columbus Blue Jackets v. Buffalo Sabres – 1p EST Start Time
In Buffalo the Sabres would play host to the Columbus Blue Jackets. In the first period Evan Rodrigues would net his third of the season for the Sabres. Then after a scoreless second period Oliver Bjorkstrand would tie the game at one with his 17th of the season. In overtime Jack Eichel would score to give the Sabres the 2-1 victory.
Vancouver Canucks v. New York Islanders – 1p EST Start Time
On Long Island the New York Islanders would play host to the Vancouver Canucks, and in the first period would trade goals as JT Miller would score for the Canucks, and Michael Dal Colle would score for the Islanders. Then in the second period Jordan Eberle would score for the Islanders, but goals from Quinn Hughes and Tim Schaller would give the Canucks the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Brock Nelson would tally late in regulation to tie the game at three and send the game to overtime for the Islanders. However, in overtime Quinn Hughes would net his second of the game to give the Canucks the 4-3 victory.
Florida Panthers v. Montreal Canadiens – 2p EST Start Time
In Montreal the Canadiens would host the Florida Panthers, and in the first period Nick Suzuki would strike first for the Canadiens. Then in the second period Artturi Lehkonen would score to grow the Canadiens lead to two, and Tomas Tatar would score to give the Canadiens the commanding 3-0 lead. In the third period Brendan Gallagher would net his 17th of the season to secure the 4-0 victory for the Canadiens.
New York Rangers v. Detroit Red Wings – 7p EST Start Time
In Detroit the Red Wings would play host to the New York Rangers, and it would be a first period goal by Mika Zibanejad while on the powerplay and stellar goaltending from Henrik Lundqvist to shut out the Red Wings 1-0 for the Rangers.
Ottawa Senators v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 7p EST Start Time
In Toronto the Maple Leafs would host the Ottawa Senators, and after a scoreless first period both teams would trade goals as Mark Borowiecki would score for the Senators, and Jason Spezza for the Leafs. Then after a scoreless third period this game would require overtime, and it would be Mitch Marner with his 14th of the season while on the powerplay to give the Maple Leafs the 2-1 victory.
Dallas Stars v. New Jersey Devils – 7p EST Start Time
Despite making a late third period comeback the New Jersey Devils would fall to the Dallas Stars in OT 3-2.
Colorado Avalanche v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p EST Start Time
In Philadelphia the Colorado Avalanche would come to town to face off with the Flyers. In the first period Matt Niskanen and Kevin Hayes would score to give the Flyers the 2-0 lead. Then in the second period Nikita Zadarov and Mikko Rantanen would score for the Avalanche, but a tally from Joel Farabee would keep the Flyers in the lead. In the third period Andre Burakovsky would score for Colorado, but Farabee and Hayes would both net their second goals of the game, and Scott Laughton would score to give the Flyers the 6-3 victory.
St. Louis Blues v. Winnipeg Jets – 7p EST Start Time
In Winnipeg the Jets would play host to the St. Louis Blues, and in the first period Jack Roslovic would strike first for the Jets to take the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Roslovic would net his second of the game and Andrew Copp would score to give the Jets the 3-0 lead. Then in the third period Brayden Schenn and Ryan O’Reilly would score for the Blues, but goals from Blake Wheeler and Patrik Laine would seal the 5-2 victory for the Jets.
Chicago Blackhawks v. Arizona Coyotes – 8p EST Start Time
In Arizona the Coyotes would play host tot he Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period the Blackhawks would strike first with a Brandon Saad tally. Theni n the second period Saad would net his second of the game for Chicago, but the Coyotes would respond with goals by Brad Richardson and Conor Garland to tie the game at two and send the game to overtime. After the extra five minutes could not settle this one it would be Patrick Kane doing Patrick Kane things to score the winner and give the Blackhawks the 3-2 victory.
Vegas Golden Knights v. Nashville Predators – 8p EST Start Time
In Nashville the Predators would play host to the Vegas Golden Knights, and after a scoreless first period Chandler Stephenson would net his tenth of the season to put Vegas on the board first. Then in the third period Nicolas Roy and Reilly Smith would both score to give the Golden Knights the 3-0 victory.
Boston Bruins v. Minnesota Wild – 8p EST Start Time
In Minnesota the Wild would be tamed by the Boston Bruins. In the first period Torey Krug would net his sixth of the season to get Boston on the board first. Then in the second period Krug would net his second of the game while on the powerplay, and the Bruins would also get powerplay goals from Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak to take a commanding 4-0 lead. In the third period Mats Zuccarello would score for the Wild, but goals from Anders Bjork and Jake DeBrusk would give the Bruins the 6-1 win.
Edmonton Oilers v. Calgary Flames – 10p EST Start Time
In Calgary the Battle of Alberta would heat up as the Flames hosted the Edmonton Oilers. In the first period Buddy Robinson would score his first career NHL goal for the Flames, but goals from Kailer Yamamoto, Zack Kassian, and Connor McDavid (PPG) would give the Oilers the 3-1 lead. In the second period Matthew Tkachuk and Elias Lindholm would score for the Flames, but another three goal period from the Oilers would feature McDavid’s second of the game, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Caleb Jones scoring to take a commanding 6-3 lead after a powder keg of a period that featured a goalie fight and many other scraps take place. Then in the third period Sam Gagner and Gaetan Haas would score to give the Oilers the 8-3 victory in a very exciting game.
Anaheim Ducks v. Los Angeles Kings – 10:30p EST Start Time
In Los Angeles the Kings would host the Anaheim Ducks in the Battle of LA. In the first period Max Jones would score for the Ducks to take the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Tyler Toffoli would score on the powerplay for the Kings, but goals from Derek Grant and Jacob Larsson would score to give the Ducks the 3-1 victory.
Tampa Bay Lightning v. San Jose Sharks – 10:30p EST Start Time
In San Jose the Sharks would host the Tampa Bay Lightning for the final game of their California trip. After a scoreless first period Steven Stamkos would net his 23rd of the season to give the Lightning the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Nikita Kucherov and Ondrej Palat would score for the 3-0 victory.
