Winnipeg Jets v. St. Louis Blues – 3p EST Start Time
In St. Louis the Blues would host their division rival Winnipeg Jets, and in the first period Ryan O’Reilly would net his eighth of the season to give the Blues the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Nick Shore would tie the game at one for the Jets, but Jaden Schwartz would score to retake the lead. Then in the third period Robert Thomas (PPG) and Schwartz (second of the game) would both score to give the Blues the 4-1 victory and their eighth consecutive victory.
New Jersey Devils v. Ottawa Senators – 5p EST Start Time
The New Jersey Devils defeated the Ottawa Senators in a wild back and forth matchup that would require overtime.
Chicago Blackhawks v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 5p EST Start Time
In Columbus the Blue Jackets would face the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period the Jackets would get goals from Riley Nash and Pierre-Luc Dubois to take the 2-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period the the Blackhawks would finally get on the board with a Dylan Strome tally to cut their deficit to one, and Erik Gustafsson would tie the game while on the powerplay to send the game to overtime. Then in the shootout Patrick Kane would score the game winner in the shootout to give the Blackhawks the 3-2 victory.
New York Islanders v. Minnesota Wild – 6p EST Start Time
In Minnesota the Wild would host the New York Islanders, and in the first period Ryan Donato would net his eighth of the season to give the Wild the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period the Islanders would strike in the third period as Ryan Pulock and Matt Martin would strike to give the Islanders the 2-1 lead. Then in the final minutes of the game Ton Kuhnhackl would net his first of the season to give the Islanders the 3-1 victory.
Buffalo Sabres v. Boston Bruins – 7p EST Start Time
In Boston the Bruins would host the Buffalo Sabres, and in the first period David Pasatrnak would strike for his 29th of the season to give the Bruins the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Rasmus Ristolainen would tie the game at one for the Sabres. Then in the third period Jake DeBrusk would score a pair of powerplay goals to take the 3-1 lead for the Bruins, but Curtis Lazar would strike back for the Sabres to cut their deficit to one, but it would not be enough as the Bruins would hold on to win 3-2.
Detroit Red Wings v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p EST Start Time
In Tampa Bay the Lightning play host to the Detroit Red Wings . After a scoreless first period the Tampa would break the scoreless tie with Ondrej Palat’s 11th of the season, but the Wings would respond with Robby Fabbri’s tenth of the season to tie the game at one. In the third period Brayden Point would strike on the powerplay to regain the lead for the Lightning and take the 2-1 victory.
Montreal Canadiens v. Florida Panthers – 7p EST Start Time
In Florida the Panthers and Montreal Canadiens would do battle, and in the first period Noel Acciari and Aleksander Barkov would strike for the Panthers, but Tomas Tatar would score on the powerplay for the Canadiens. In the second period Jeff Petry and Max Domi would strike for the Canadiens to take the 3-2 lead, but the Panthers would strike with Barkov’s second of the game, and a pair of goals from Jonathan Huberdeau to take the 5-3 lead into the second intermission. Then in the third period Mike Matheson would strike to grow the Panthers lead to three, but Jesperi Kotkaniemi would strike on the powerplay to get the Canadiens back within two, and Shea Weber would strike to bring the Canadiens within one, but it would not be enough as the Panthers would hold on for the 6-5 victory.
Dallas Stars v. Arizona Coyotes – 8p EST Start Time
In Arizona the Coyotes would get the jump on the Dallas Stars with first period goals from Taylor Hall and Conor Garland to take the 2-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period the Stars would finally get on the board as Jamie Benn would strike for his ninth of the season to cut their deficit to one, and then the Stars would get goals from Alexander Radulov, Roope Hintz, and Mattias Janmark to take the comeback victory over Arizona 4-2.
Philadelphia Flyers v. Anaheim Ducks – 830p EST Start Time
In Anaheim the Ducks would score 35 seconds into the game with Erik Gudbranson’s third of the season to take the 1-0 lead, but the Philadelphia Flyers would respond as Sean Couturier would net his tenth of the season to tie the game at one. After a scoreless second and third periods Kevin Hayes would strike in overtime to give the Flyers the 2-1 victory.
Vancouver Canucks v. Calgary Flames – 930p EST Start Time
In Calgary the Vancouver Canucks would smother the Flames in the first period as Tyler Myers would score a pair of goals (PPG and EVS), and Jake Virtanen would strike on the powerplay to take the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Flames would respond as Rasmus Andersson would net his third of the season to cut their deficit to two. Then in the third period Tanner Pearson would score his tenth of the season to regain the three goal lead for Vancouver, then Noah Hanafin would respond for the Flames, but Pearson would score his second of the game to secure the 5-2 victory for the Canucks.
