Today in the NWHL a pair of signings were announced for the 2019-20 season.
First the Connecticut Whale announced that they have signed Emma Vlasic for the 2019-20 season.
Vlasic served as the captain during her senior year at Yale. Vlasic also recorded 46 points in 114 games for Yale. This will be Vlasic’s first season in the NWHL and with the Whale.
Then the Buffalo Beauts announced that they have signed defender Megan Delay for the 2019-20 season.
Delay was a member of the 2018 Clarkson Cup Champion Markham thunder, which was also her rookie season in the CWHL. This will mark Delay’s first contract with the NWHL and first with the Beauts.
Both player’s salaries were not disclosed.
All players will partake in the 50 percent cut of revenue from league sponsorship and media deals. Plus they will also receive 15 percent of revenue from apparel sold with their name on it.
TXHT will continue to provide NWHL coverage as more signings are announced.
