Gameday Preview: Montreal Canadiens vs Carolina Hurricanes

Montreal Canadiens (11-8-5) vs Carolina Hurricanes (11-9-3)

Gametime: 7:30 pm

The Montreal Canadiens come into tonight’s game looking to snap a four game losing streak. Tonight is a big night for Habs fans as Shea Weber will make is much anticipated season debut tonight. The Canadiens have been struggling on defense and the return of the Habs top D man should solve these problems going forward. They also called up Brett Kulak last week who is playing on the second pairing.  The Canes are coming off a 4-1 loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday Night.

Carey Price will get the start between the pipes for the Habs.

 

Injury Report:

The Habs have announced that Paul Byron has been skating with the team and could return as early as Saturday Night vs the New York Rangers. Joel Armia is going to be out until at least after Christmas.
