As deadline day inches closer, there would be three big trades made and a contract extension in Washington, as well as a lone contest taking place in the PWHL with five games on the NHL slate.

With the trade deadline looming, while we gauge the trade market, the NHL gives us 11 action packed games. Plus a PWHL matchup.

On a relaxing day, there would a rare matinee game, plus five other games that went back and forth.

To kick off the month of March, we would be treated to 6 NHL games and 2 PWHL matchups.

In a very bust Saturday, it would be a 14 game day with a lone game taking place in the PWHL and a 13 game day in the NHL, it would be a quiet day of news but all of the games would be action packed with some of the games being close while others were blowouts.

With the NHL Trade Deadline a week away, the NHL would feature 4 games before heading into a very important weekend for many teams.

In a 13 game night, the PWHL got back in action with one contest and 12 games in the NHL, it would be a full night as there would be comebacks, blowouts, and close calls, plus other news and notes around the hockey universe.
