PWHL Player of the Week – Poulin Leads the Way

Today the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced their Player of the Week for the week of May 11th through 17th.

Marie-Philip Poulin (F – MON)

  • Marie-Philip Poulin would lead the Montreal Victoire in their past three PWHL Walter Cup Playoff games with a goal and three assists for four points. On May 12th, Poulin would open the week off with an assist and the game-winning goal in Game 5 to give the Victoire the 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Frost to send Montreal to the PWHL Walter Cup Final for the first time. Then in both Games 1 and 2 of the Final, Poulin would record an assist in each game as the Victoire would defeat the Ottawa Charge 3-2 and 2-1 in overtime both games to give Montreal the 2-0 series lead and one win away from becoming Walter Cup Champions.
