In Montreal for Game 2 of the PWHL Walter Cup Final, the Victoire would look to grow their series lead to two while the Ottawa Charge would try to even the series at one, and in the first period, Sarah Wozniewicz would score her second of the playoffs to give the Charge the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Kati Tabin would score her first of the playoffs to tie the game at one for the Victoire. Then after a scoreless third period, this series would require overtime once again as Maggie Flaherty would score to give the Victoire the 2-1 overtime victory over the Charge to take the 2-0 series lead.

Also in Montreal, the Canadiens would look to close out the Buffalo Sabres and move on to the Eastern Conference Final, and in the first period, it would be a wild one. Rasmus Dahlin would open the scoring for the Sabres to take the 1-0 lead, but 3 shots would equal 3 goals as Arber Xhekaj, Ivan Demidov (PPG), and Jake Evans (SHG) would score on three consecutive shots for the Canadiens to take the 3-1 lead and chase Alex Lyon from the Sabres net. However, Jason Zucker would score on the powerplay to get the Sabres back within one. In the second period, Zach Benson would score his fifth of the playoffs to tie the game at three for the Sabres, and then Jack Quinn would score on the powerplay for his first career playoff goal and Konsta Helenius would score to give the Sabres the 5-3 lead. Then in the third period, Quinn would score his second powerplay goal of the game, Tage Thompson would get the empty netter, and Zach Metsa would score on the powerplay for his first career playoff goal to give the Sabres the 8-3 victory over the Canadiens to force a Game 7 on Monday night.
