- The Vancouver Canucks have announced a new hiring and a pair of promotions in the front office.
- The Canucks have named Ryan Johnson as General Manager.
- The Canucks also promoted Daniel and Henrik Sedin to co-Presidents of Hockey Operations.

Ottawa Charge v. Montreal Victoire – 7p ET – Game 1 (PWHL)
- In Montreal, the 2026 Walter Cup Final gets underway as the Charge and Victoire face off in Game 1 of the best of 5 series. After a scoreless first, Ottawa takes the 1-0 lead when Rebecca Leslie nets her second of the postseason. In the third, Montreal tied the game with Abby Roque’s first of the playoffs but then Ottawa took the lead when Rebecca Leslie netted her second of the night and then Montreal tied the game with three seconds left when Nicole Gosling scored her first of the postseason. In overtime, Abby Roque scored her second of the night as the Victoire came from behind to defeat the Charge 3-2 and take Game 1.
Montreal Canadiens v. Buffalo Sabres – 7p ET – Game 5
- In Buffalo, both squads are looking to take the 3-2 series advantage and in the first Buffalo took the 1-0 lead wehn Jason Zucker scored his first of the postseason but then Cole Caufield netted his fourth to tie the game for Montreal. Josh Doan then scored his third to give the Sabres the lead back but Alexandre Texier struck with his third to tie the game for the Habs. Then, Buffalo took the lead back once more when Konsta Helenius scored his first career NHL postseason goal. In the second, Josh Anderson scored his third as the Canadiens tied the game for the third time and then Jake Evans scored his first of the postseason to give Montreal their first lead of the night. Then, Nick Suzuki scored his fourth with a power play goal to give the Habs the 5-3 lead. In the third, Ivan Demidov netted his first goal of the postseason as the Canadiens scored four unanswered to defeat the Sabres 6-3 and take the 3-2 series advantage.
