- The Philadelphia Flyers released a statement from forward Owen Tippett.
- Tippett’s statement announced the extent of his injury that forced him to miss the entire Second Round series against the Carolina Hurricanes.
- The Columbus Blue Jackets announced that they have re-signed forward Charlie Coyle.
- Coyle would sign a 6 year deal that will carry an AAV of $6 million per year.
- The NHL announced the finalists for the Jim Gregory General Manager of the Year Award.
- The finalists are Bill Guerin (MIN), Chris MacFarland (COL), and Pat Verbeek (ANA).
- In the PWHL, they have named Ottawa Charge goaltender Gwyneth Philips as Player of the Week.
- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have fined Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson.
- Mason would be fined $5,000 for butt-ending Minnesota Wild forward Michael McCarron on Monday, May 11th during Game 4 of their Second Round series.
- The fine is the maximum allowable per the CBA.
- DoPS also announced that they have suspended Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy.
- McAvoy would be suspended for 6 regular season games for slashing Buffalo Sabres forward Zach Benson during Game 6 of the teams’ First Round series in Boston on Friday, May 1st.
- The suspension will be without pay and will be served at the beginning of the 2026-27 season.

Minnesota Frost v. Montreal Victoire – 7p ET – Game 5 (PWHL)
- After a one day delay for precautionary reason, the Montreal Victoire play host to the Minnesota Frost for Game 5 of their Semifinal series to determine who will move on to face the Ottawa Charge in the PWHL Walter Cup Final, and in the first period, Catherine Dubois would score to give the Victoire the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Samantha Cogan would score her first career PWHL goal to tie the game at one for the Frost. Then in the third period, Marie-Philip Poulin would score on the powerplay to give the Victoire the 2-1 victory over the Frost to take the series 3-2 and advance to the Walter Cup Final for the first time in franchise history.
Buffalo Sabres v. Montreal Canadiens – 7p ET – Game 4
- Also in Montreal, the Canadiens play host to the Buffalo Sabres for Game 4 of their Second Round series, and in the first period, Mattias Samuelsson would score to open the scoring for the Sabres, but Alex Newhook would score to tie the game at one for the Canadiens. However, a late powerplay goal by Cole Caufield would give the Canadiens the 2-1 lead. In the second period, Tage Thompson would score on the powerplay to tie the game at two for the Sabres. Then in the third period, Zach Benson would score on the powerplay to give the Sabres the 3-2 victory over the Canadiens to tie the series at 2 games a piece.
