- The NHL announced the finalists for the Calder Memorial Trophy.
- The finalists are Ivan Demidov (MON), Matthew Schaefer (NYI), and Bennett Sennecke (ANA)
- The NHL held it’s annual Draft Lottery.
- The Toronto Maple Leafs won the Draft Lottery and will select First Overall at the NHL Draft later in June.

Minnesota Frost v. Montreal Victoire – 7p ET – Game 2 (PWHL)
- In Montreal for Game 2, the Victoire and the Minnesota Frost look to reign in the scoring and play a tighter game, and after a scoreless 60 minutes of regulation hockey, this game would require three overtime periods as Marie-Philip Poulin would score her first of the PWHL Walter Cup Playoffs to give the Victoire the 1-0 triple overtime victory over the Frost. Ann-Renée Desbiens would stop all 38 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Victoire while Maddie Rooney would stop 51 of 52 shots faced in the triple overtime loss for the Frost.
Minnesota Wild v. Colorado Avalanche – 8p ET – Game 2
- In Colorado for Game 2, the Avalanche and Minnesota Wild look to contain things a bit more that what we saw in Game 1, and in the first period, Martin Necas would open the scoring for the Avalanche, but 6 seconds later Kirill Kaprizov would score to tie the game at one for the Wild. However, later in the period, Gabriel Landeskog would score on the powerplay to give the Avalanche the 2-1 lead. In the second period, Nicolas Roy would score to give the Avalanche the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period, Nathan MacKinnon would score on the powerplay to grow Colorado’s lead to three, but Marcus Johansson would score to get the Wild back within one. However, Valeri Nichushkin would score the empty netter to give the Avalanche the 5-2 victory over the Wild to take the 2-0 series lead.
