- The PWHL announced decisions made by the PWHL Player Safety Committee.
- First, the PWHL announced that New York Sirens defender Micah Zandee-Hart has been suspended for one game.
- The incident involving Zandee-Hart occurred in New York’s game on Saturday against the Minnesota Frost where she was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for an illegal check to the head on opponent Katy Knoll at 11:15 of the third period.
- In their review, the Player Safety Committee determined that Zandee-Hart delivered a high and forceful check that made her opponent’s head the main point of contact on a play where such head contact was avoidable.
- Zandee-Hart was previously fined $250 this season following a major penalty and game misconduct for cross-checking in a game on Nov. 22 against Ottawa.
- Then, the PWHL announced that they have fined Boston Fleet forward Ella Huber $250.
- The incident involving Huber occurred in Boston’s game on Saturday against the Montréal Victoire where she was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking opponent Hayley Scamurra at 17:00 of the second period.
- In their review, the Player Safety Committee determined that Huber raised her stick with both arms, causing the shaft to strike her opponent in the head, with sufficient force to warrant supplemental discipline.
- This is the first instance of supplemental discipline in Huber’s career.
- First, the PWHL announced that New York Sirens defender Micah Zandee-Hart has been suspended for one game.

Jersey Tracking and Mini Recaps
New Jersey Devils v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET
- In Boston, the Bruins would play host to the New Jersey Devils, and in the first period, all of the goals would be scored as Morgan Geekie would open the scoring followed by a pair of goals from Mark Kastelic, and then Viktor Arvidsson would score to give the Bruins the 4-0 victory over the Devils. Jeremy Swayman would stop all 21 shots faced to earn the shutout for the Bruins.

Carolina Hurricanes v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- On Long Island, the Carolina Hurricanes would visit for a Metro Division battle with the New York Islanders, and in the first period, Nikolaj Ehlers would score to give the Hurricanes the 1-0 lead. In the second period, Bo Horvat wouod score for the Islanders to tie the game at one. Then in the third period, Mark Jankowski would score to give the Hurricanes the 2-1 victory over the Islanders.

Montréal Canadiens v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
- In Philadelphia, the Flyers would play host to the Montreal Canadiens, and in the first period, Porter Martone would score and Oliver Bonk would score his first career NHL goal to give the Flyers the 2-0 lead. In the second period, Brendan Gallagher would score for the Canadiens to get back within one, but Matvei Michkov would score to reclaim the two goal lead. However, Jake Evans would score to get the Canadiens back within one again. Then in the third period, Alex Bump would score to give the Flyers the 4-2 victory over the Canadiens.

Washington Capitals v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p ET
- In Columbus for potentially Alex Ovechkin’s final NHL game, the Blue Jackets would play host to Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals, and after a scoreless first period, Boone Jenner would open the scoring for the Jackets, but Anthony Beauvillier would score to tie the game at one for the Capitals. Then in the third period, Jakob Chychrun would score on the powerplay to give the Capitals the 2-1 victory over the Blue Jackets to finish their season on a high note.

Anaheim Ducks v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
- In Minnesota, the Anaheim Ducks look to solidify their playoff seeding in the Pacific Division as they visit the Wild, and in the first period, Mason McTavish would strike on the powerplay for the Ducks to open the scoring, but Danila Yurov would score to tie the game at one for the Wild. In the second period, Hunter Haight would score his first career NHL goal to give the Wild the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period, McTavish would score his second of the game late in regulation, but Robby Fabbri’s goal earlier in the period would give the Wild the 3-2 victory over the Ducks.
