- The National Hockey League announced the Three Stars of the Week.
- The First Star went to Los Angeles Kings G Anton Forsberg.
- The Second Star went to Ottawa Senators G Linus Ullmark.
- The Third Star went to Detroit Red Wings F Dylan Larkin.
- New York Rangers G Jonathan Quick announced that he will retire upon the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
- Quick is a 3 time Stanley Cup champion, a 2012 Conn Smythe Trophy winner, a two-time receipient of the Jennings trophy, and has the most wins for an American born goaltender in NHL history.
- As a member of the New York Rangers, he won the Mr. Ranger award last season (2024-25), as well as the Players’ Player award during the 2023-24 season.
- The PWHL announced that the Player of the Week went to Montreal Victoire G Ann-Renee Desbiens after getting her seventh shutout that tied the league lead while setting a new single-season record for the PWHL.
- Desbines also had a 0.50 GAA while recording two victories in both games she played.

Detroit Red Wings v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
- In Tampa Bay, the Lightning hosted the Red Wings and in the first Detroit took the 1-0 lead when David Perron scored his 13th of the year but then Tampa Bay tied the contest with Conor Geekie’s first of the season. In the second, Erik Cernak scored his third of the year to put Tampa up 2-1 and then Jake Guentzel netted his 38th of the year as the Bolts went up 3-1. In the third, Marco Kasper got his ninth of the year as Detroit got within a goal and then Alex Debrncat scored his 41st to tie the game for the Wings. In overtime, Nikita Kucherov scored his 44th of the season to give the Lightning the 4-3 win over the Red Wings.

New York Rangers v. Florida Panthers – 7p ET
- In South Florida, the Panthers hosted the Rangers and in the first, Florida took the 1-0 lead when Cole Reinhardt struck with his seventh of the year and then Mackie Samoskevich got his 12th to put the Panthers up 2-0. Then, New York got on the board when Matthew Robertson scored his sixth of the year. In the second, New York tied the game when Gabe Perreault scored his 11th of the year. In the third, Cole Reinhardt scored hsis second of the night as the Panthers defeated the Rangers 3-2.
Carolina Hurricanes v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
- In Philadelphia, the Flyers have a berth in the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs on the line with a victory of any fashion over the Hurricanes. In the first, Carolina went up 1-0 with Bradly Nadeau’s third of the year and then the Canes took the 2-0 lead when Nikolaj Ehlers scored his 25th of the year with a power play goal. In the second, Philadelphia got on the board when Matvei Michkov scored his 19th and then Trevor Zegras scored his 26th with a power play goal to tie the game for the Flyers. Following a scoreless third and overtime session, Tyson Foerster scored the lone goal in the shootout to give the Flyers the 3-2 win over the Hurricanes and clinch their spot in the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Dallas Stars v. Toronto Maple Leafs – 730p ET
- In Toronto, the Maple Leafs hosted the Stars and in the first John Tavares scored a power play goal, his 31st on the year, to put Toronto up 1-0 and then Jacob Quillan scored his first career NHL goal to put the Leafs up 2-0. Then, William Nylander scored his 29th on the year to put Toronto up 3-0. In the second, Dallas got on the board when Mavrik Bourque got a pair of goals and then Jason Robertson netted his 45th of the year as the Stars tied the game 3-3. In the third, Toronto re-took the lead as Max Domi got his 12th and then Nicholas Robertson scored his 16th as Toronto went up 5-3. Then, Wyatt Johnston scored his 45th on the year on the power play to bring Dallas within a goal. Arttu Hyry was then awarded an own goal, his third tally of the year to even the score and then Mavrik Bourque completed the hat trick to give the Stars the 6-5 win over the Maple Leafs.
Minnesota Wild v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
- In St. Louis, the Blues hosted the Wild and in the first, Colton Parayko scored his fourth of the year to put St. Louis up 1-0 but then Nick Foligno scored his first to tie the game for Minnesota. Then, Danila Yurov scored his 11th to put Minnesota up 2-1. In the second, the Wild took the 3-1 lead when Michael McCarron scored a shorthanded goal, his eighth goal on the year, but then St. Louis got within a goal when Otto Stenberg netted his third of the year. Pavel Buchnevich then scored his 18th of the year to even the score and then Theo Lindstein got his second of the year as the Blues took the 4-3 lead. In the third, Jake Neighbours got his 15th to put St. Louis up 5-3 and then Jommy Snuggerud scored an empty net goal, his 19th of the year, as the Blues went on to double up the Wild 6-3.
San Jose Sharks v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
- In Nashville, the Predators hosted the Sharks and after a scoreless first, San Jose got on the board with Igor Chernyshov’s eighth of the year with a power play goal. In the third, San Jose went up 2-0 with Macklin Celebrini’s 43rd of th year but then Nashville got on the board when Luke Evangelista scored his 11th of the year. Macklin Celebrini then got his second of the year with an empty net goal to put San Jose back up a goal but then Luke Evangelista scored his 12th of the year for Nashville. However, the comeback fell just short as the Sharks defeated the Predators 3-2 and clinched a spot in the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs for the Anaheim Ducks.
Buffalo Sabres v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p ET
- In Chicago, the Sabres will clinch the Atlantic Division title with a regulation win over the Blackhawks and a Tampa Bay loss. In the first, Chicago took the 1-0 lead with a shorthanded goal but Ryan Greene but then Buffalo tied the game when Josh Norris got his 12th of the year. In the second, Tage Thompson scored his 39th of the year to put Buffalo up 2-1. In the third, Alex Tuch’s 32nd of the then put the Sabres up 3-1 and then Tage Thompson scored his second of the night as Buffalo took the 4-1 lead. Ryan McLeod then scored his 14th of the year late in the period as the Sabres downed the Blackhawks 5-1 and clinched their first division title since the 2009-10 season.
