- The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that they have fined Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk.
- Tkachuk was fined $2,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct toward an opponent while on Ottawa’s bench against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, April 2nd.
- The incident occurred at 9:57 of the first period and Tkachuk was assessed a minor penalty for slashing.

Philadelphia Flyers v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- On Long Island for a Metropolitan Division matchup, the Philadelphia Flyers would look to improve their playoff hopes with a visit to the New York Islanders, and in the first period, Owen Tippett and Alex Bump would score to give the Flyers the 2-0 lead. In the second period, Matvei Michkov would score to grow the Flyers lead to three, but a goal by Jean-Gabriel Pageau would get the Islanders on the board and back within two. Then in the third period, Travis Sanheim would score his 10th of the season to give the Flyers the 4-1 victory over the Islanders.
Montreal Victoire v. Ottawa Charge – 7p ET (PWHL)
- In Ottawa, the Charge would set a home attendance record as they host the Montreal Victoire, and after a scoreless first period, Kaitlin Willoughby would score her first career PWHL goal and Abby Roque would score on the powerplay to give the Victoire the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period, Willoughby would score the empty netter for her second of the game to give the Victoire the 3-0 victory over the Charge. Sandra Abstreiter would stop all 39 shots faced to record her first career PWHL shutout for the Victoire.
