  • The Philadelphia Flyers would officially sign forward Wayne Simmonds to a one day contract for Simmonds to retire as a Flyer.

  • After defeating Minnesota, the Vegas Golden Knights would clinch a spot int he 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Carolina Hurricanes v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET

  • In St. Louis the Blues would play host to the Carolina Hurricanes, and in the first period both teams would trade goals as Zack Bolduc would strike for the Blues while Jordan Martinook would score to tie the game at one for the Canes. In the second period both teams would trade tallies again as Jordan Kyrou would score for the Blues while Seth Jarvis would score for the Canes for the 2-2 tie. Then in the third period Jaccob Slavin would score and Jake Guentzel would net a pair of empty netters as the Hurricanes would defeat the Blues 5-2.

Nashville Predators v. Chicago Blackhawks – 8:30p ET

  • In Chicago, the Blackhawks would play host to the Nashville Predators, and in the first period Filip Forsberg and Kiefer Sherwood would score to give the Preds the 2-0 lead. In the second period Forsberg would net his second of the game while Jason Zucker would score for the Preds to take the 4-0 lead, but Philipp Kurashev would score to get the Blackhawks on the board and end the shutout bid. Then in the third period Forsberg would strike again to complete the hat trick to give the Predators the 5-1 victory over the Blackhawks.
