Toronto Maple Leafs v. Detroit Red Wings – 2p ET – Global Series in Stockholm, Sweden
- Back in Stockholm, Sweden for the second game of the Global Series the Detroit Red Wings would get to play host as they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and after a scoreless first period Daniel Sprong and Lucas Raymond would score to give the Wings the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period Tyler Bertuzzi, William Nylander, and John Tavares would each record a goal to give the Maple Leafs the 3-2 comeback victory over the Red Wings.
Buffalo Sabres v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
- In Winnipeg the Jets would play host to the Buffalo Sabres, and after a scoreless first period Cole Perfetti and Mason Appleton would score to give the Jets the 2-0 lead. However, Alex Tuch would score 23 seconds later to get the Sabres on the board and back within one, but Nikolaj Ehlers would score to to regain the two goal lead for the Jets. Then in the third period JJ Peterka would score to get the Sabres back within one, but it would not be enough as the Jets would hold on to defeat the Sabres 3-2.
