- The NHL announced that the Global Series will be returning the Stockholm, Sweden for the 2023-24 season, and will feature four teams.
- The four teams going will be the Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
- The regular season games will take place between Nov. 16th and Nov. 19th with the following schedule:
- Nov. 16th – DET v. OTT
- Nov. 17th – TOR v. DET
- Nov. 18th – MIN v. OTT
- Nov. 19th – TOR v. MIN
Game Recaps

- Florida Panthers v. Boston Bruins – 7p ET – Game 5
- In Boston the Bruins would look to be the first team to advance to the second round as they host the Florida Panthers, and in the first period Anthony Duclair would strike to give the Panthers the 1-0 lead. In the second period Brad Marchand would score for the B’s to tie the game at one, but Sam Bennett would score to retake the lead for the Panthers. Then in the third period Sam Reinhart would score for the Panthers, but goals from Patrice Bergeron and Taylor Hall would score to tie the game at three for the B’s to force overtime. In the extra frame Matthew Tkachuk would score to give the Panthers the 4-3 overtime victory over the Bruins and force a Game 6 back in Florida.

- Seattle Kraken v. Colorado Avalanche – 930p ET – Game 5
- In Colorado the Avalanche and Seattle Kraken would go to battle in Game 5 of their series as both teams would look to take the 3-2 series lead, and after a scoreless first period Nathan MacKinnon would score for the Avs, but goals from Morgan Geekie and Tye Kartye would give the Kraken the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Evan Rodrigues would score for the Avs, but Yanni Gourde’s first of the playoffs would give the Kraken the 3-2 victory and the 3-2 series lead over the Avalanche.
