  • The Carolina Hurricanes announced that forward Andrei Svechnikov would miss the rest of the season.
    • Svechnikov will have reconstructive surgery on his right ACL on Thursday morning.
    • Svechnikov will also miss the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

  • Montreal Canadiens v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
    • In Pittsburgh the Penguins would play host to the Montreal Canadiens, and in the first period Jake Guentzel and Evgeni Malkin would score for the Pens to take the 2-0 lead, but goals from Mike Hoffman, Jesse Ylonen, Denis Gurianov, and Joel Edmondson would give the Habs the 4-2 lead. In the second period Kris Letang would score and Guentzel would net his second of the game to tie the game at four for the Pens. Then in the third period Anthony Richard and Josh Anderson would score to give the Canadiens the 6-4 victory over the Penguins.

    • In New Jersey the Devils would play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning, and in the first period Damon Severson would open the scoring for the Devils, but Anthony Cirelli would strike to tie the game at one for the Bolts. In the second period Brandon Hagel, Alex Killorn, and Nikita Kucherov would score to give the Lightning the 4-1 victory over the Devils.

    • In Philadelphia the Vegas Golden Knights would come to town to take on the Flyers, and in the first period Pavel Dorofeyev would score to give the Knights the 1-0 lead. In the second period Travis Sanheim would score for the Flyers, but Ivan Barbashev and Teddy Blueger would score for the Knights to take the 3-1 lead.     • At Madison Square Garden, and in Big City Greens, the New York Rangers would go to battle with the Washington Capitals, and in the first period Nicolas Aube-Kubel would score for the Caps, but a pair of goals from Mika Zibanejad and a powerplay tally from Patrick Kane would give the Rangers the 3-1 lead. In the second period Matt Irwin would score but a tally from Jacob Trouba would keep the Rangers ahead by two. Then in the third period Nic Dowd would score for the Caps, but an empty net goal from Jimmy Vesey would give the Rangers the 5-3 victory over the Capitals.

Then in the third period Alex Chiasson would score for the Wings, but Tommy Novak would score to give the Predators the 2-1 victory over the Red Wings.

    • In Chicago it would be an Original Six matchup as the Blackhawks would play host to the Boston Bruins, and in the first period MacKenzie Entwistle would score to give the Blackhawks the 1-0 lead. In the second period Joey Anderson would score for the Blackhawks, but goals from Hampus Lindholm and Trent Frederic would tie the game at one for the B’s. Then in the third period Pavel Zacha would score for the B’s, but Boris Katchouk would score and Taylor Raddysh would score three goals for the hat trick to give the Blackhawks the 6-3 victory over the Bruins.

    • In Edmonton the Ottawa Senators would come to town to battle the Oilers, and in the first period both teams would record a pair of goals as Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle would score for the Sens while Derek Ryan and Leon Draisaitl would score Oilers for the 2-2 tie. In the second period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Nick Bjugstad would each score a goal and Draisaitl would net his second of the game to give the Oilers the 5-2 lead. Then in the third period Stutzle would net his second of the game for the Sens, but Connor McDavid would score to secure the 6-3 victory over the Senators for the Oilers.

In the second period both teams would trade goals again as Matias Maccelli would score for the Yotes and Walker Duehr would score for the Flames for the 2-2 tie.
