Today the National Hockey League has announced the Stars of the Month for the month of February 2023.
First Star – Connor McDavid (C – EDM)
- Connor McDavid would record nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points in 11 games played for the Edmonton Oilers. McDavid would record his 50th goal of the season, marking the first time in his career, in his 61st game of the season, and he would have seven multi-point games with streak of four straight multi-goal games to highlight the month of February.
Second Star – Nathan MacKinnon (C – COL)
- Nathan MacKinnon would also record nine goals, plus eight assists for for 17 points in 10 games played for the Colorado Avalanche. MacKinnon would record a point in nine of his ten games played, including an eight game point streak to end the month of February. He would also record six consecutive multi-point games during his eight game point streak.
Third Star – Linus Ullmark (G – BOS)
- Linus Ullmark would go a perfect 6-0-0 with a .947 save percentage and a 1.79 goals against average in sis games played for the Boston Bruins. Ullmark would also score a goal making him the first Bruin netminder to score in franchise history.
