- The Edmonton Oilers announced that they have activated forward Kailer Yamamoto from IR.
- The Toronto Maple Leafs, St. Louis Blues, and Minnesota Wild would make a 3 team trade.
- The Leafs would acquire forwards Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari from St. Louis and forward Josh Pillar from Minnesota.
- The Blues would acquire forwards Mikhail Abramov and Adam Guadette.
- The Blues would also acquire Toronto’s 2023 1st Round Pick, Ottawa’s 2023 3rd Round Pick, and Toronto’s 2024 2nd Round Pick.
- The Wild would acquire Toronto’s 2025 4th Round Pick.
- As part of the trade the Blues would retain 50% and the Wild would retain 25% of O’Reilly’s salary.

- Chicago Blackhawks v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
- In Ottawa the Senators would retire Chris Neil’s #25 before taking on the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period Patrick Kane would score to give the Blackhawks the 1-0 lead. In the second period Shane Pinto would score to tie the game at one for the Sens. Then in the third period Claude Giroux and Brady Tkachuk would score to give the Sens the 3-1 lead, but Sam Lafferty would score and Kane would net his second of the game to tie the game at three for the Blackhawks to force overtime. In the extra frame Andreas Athanasiou would score to give the Blackhawks the 4-3 victory over the Senators.

- Pittsburgh Penguins v. New York Islanders – 7p ET
- On Long Island the New York Islanders would play host to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and in the first period Sidney Crosby would open the scoring for the Pens, but Anders Lee would score to tie the game at one for the Isles. In the second period Rickard Rakell would net a pair of goals and Justin Zucker would score to for the Pens while Brock Nelson would score and Lee would net his second of the game for the Isles to see the Pens take the 4-3 lead into the second intermission. Then in the third period Nelson would net his second of the game to tie the game at four for the Isles, and then he would complete the hat trick to give the Islanders the 5-4 victory over the Penguins.

- Dallas Stars v. Minnesota Wild – 8p ET
- In Minnesota the Wild would play host to the Dallas Stars, and after a scoreless 40 minutes of hockey Mats Zuccarello would net his 20th of the season to give the Wild the 1-0 lead, but Jamie Benn would strike to tie the game at one for the Stars to force overtime. After a scoreless five minutes of extra hockey it would be Matt Boldy with the winner in the shootout to give the Wild the 2-1 victory over the Stars.

- Los Angeles Kings v. Anaheim Ducks – 9p ET
- In Anaheim we would be treated to an alternate jersey battle as the Ducks would play host to their Los Angeles neighbors in the Kings, and in the first period Blake Lizotte would score to give the Kings the 1-0 lead. In the second period Kevin Shattenkirk would score to tie the game at one for the Ducks, but Viktor Arvidsson and Adrian Kempe would score for the Kings to take the 3-1 lead. Then in the third period Mason McTavish would score to get the Ducks back within one and Frank Vatrano would score for the Ducks as well, but tallies from Anze Kopitar and Kevin Fiala, and Arvidsson’s second of the game would give the Kings the 6-3 victory over the Ducks.

- New York Rangers v. Edmonton Oilers – 9p ET
- In Edmonton the Oilers would take on the New York Rangers, and in the first period Chris Kreider would score for the Rangers, but goals from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (which would feature a Connor McDavid assist to reach 100 points), Tyson Barrie, Derek Ryan, and Leon Draisaitl would give the Oilers the commanding 4-1 lead. In the second period Kreider would net his second of the game would get the Rangers back within two. Then in third period Alexis Lafreniere and Mika Zibanejad would score to tie the game at four for the Rangers to force overtime. After a scoreless extra five minutes of hockey it would be Lafreniere with the shootout winner to give the Rangers the 5-4 comeback victory over the Oilers.
