  • The Buffalo Sabres announced that they have signed forward Dylan Cozens to a contract extension.
    • Cozens would sign a new deal worth $49.7 million for 7 years.
    • Cozens AAV will be $7.1 million per season.

  • Colorado Avalanche v. Pittsburgh Penguins – 7p ET
    • In Pittsburgh the Penguins would play host to the Colorado Avalanche, and after a scoreless first period Nathan MacKinnon would score to give the Avs the 1-0 lead. Then in the third period Bryan Rust would strike to tie the game at one for the Pens to force overtime. In the extra frame Kris Letang would score to give the Penguins the 2-1 victory over the Avalanche.

  • San Jose Sharks v. Tampa Bay Lightning – 7p ET
    • In Tampa Bay the Lightning would play host to the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Erik Karlsson would score for the Sharks, but a pair of goals from Brayden Point and a tally from Ross Colton would give the Bolts the 3-1 lead. In the second period Timo Meier would score for the Sharks to draw back within one. Then in the third period Jonah Gadjovich would score to tie the game at one for the Sharks to force overtime. In the extra frame Meier would net his second of the game to give the Sharks the 4-3 victory over the Lightning.

  • Edmonton Oilers v. Detroit Red Wings – 730p ET
    • In Detroit the Edmonton Oilers would come to town to faceoff with the Red Wings, and in the first period Tyler Bertuzzi would score to give the Wings the 1-0 lead. In the second period Joe Veleno would score for the Wings, but Ryan McLeod would score and Warren Foegele would net a pair of goals to give the Oilers the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Evander Kane would score to give the Oilers the 5-2 victory over the Red Wings.

  • Seattle Kraken v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
    • On Long Island the Seattle Kraken would go to battle with the New York Islanders, and in the first period Samuel Bolduc would net his first career NHL goal and Simon Holmstrom would score to give the Isles the 2-0 lead. Then in the second period Zach Parise would score and Bo Horvat would net his first as an Islander as the Islanders would go on to shutout the Kraken 4-0.

  • Vegas Golden Knights v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
    • In Nashville the Predators would take on the Vegas Golden Knights, and in the first period Matt Duchene would strike for the Preds, but goals from Michael Amadio, William Carrier, and Phil Kessel would give the Knights the 3-1 lead. In the second period Chandler Stephenson would score to grow the Knights lead to three. Then in the third period Alex Pietrangelo would score to give the Golden Knights the 5-1 victory over the Predators.

  • Anaheim Ducks v. Chicago Blackhawks – 830p ET
    • In Chicago the Anaheim Ducks would visit the Blackhawks, and after a scoreless first period both teams would net a pair of goals as Jason Dickinson and Seth Jones would score for the Blackhawks while Brett Leason and Jayson Megna would score for the Ducks for the 2-2 tie. After a scoreless third period Frank Vatrano would score to give the Ducks the 3-2 overtime victory over the Blackhawks.
