  • The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman Lucas Johansen from Hersey of the AHL.
    • The recall was made due to the injury to defenseman John Carlson who is out indefinitely with an “upper body” injury.

  • Boston Bruins v. Ottawa Senators – 7p ET
    • In Ottawa the Boston Bruins would brave the cold as they head up north to take on the Senators, and after a scoreless first period Jake DeBrusk would score for the B’s, but goals from Tim Stutzle and Alex DeBrincat would give the Sens the 2-1 lead. Then in the third period Pavel Zacha would score to tie the game at two to force overtime for the B’s. After a scoreless five minutes of extra hockey it would be DeBrincat in the shootout to give the Senators the 3-2 victory over the Bruins.

  • Chicago Blackhawks v. Carolina Hurricanes – 7p ET
    • In Carolina the Hurricanes would play host to the Chicago Blackhawks, and in the first period Martin Necas and Jesper Fast would score to give the Canes the 2-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period Jordan Martinook would score to give the Hurricanes the 3-0 victory over the Blackhawks.

  • Washington Capitals v. New York Rangers – 7p ET
    • At Madison Square Garden the New York Rangers and Washington Capitals would faceoff for the first time this season, and in the first period Marcus Johansson would strike on the powerplay to give the Caps the 1-0 lead. In the second period Erik Gustafsson and Lars Eller would both score to grow the Caps lead to three. Then in the third period Conor Sheary would get the empty netter to give the Capitals the 4-0 victory over the Rangers.

  • Buffalo Sabres v. Columbus Blue Jackets – Postponed
  • Pittsburgh Penguins v. New York Islanders – 730p ET
    • Meanwhile, over on Long Island the Pittsburgh Penguins would take on the New York Islanders, and in the first period Anders Lee would open the scoring for the Isles, but Pierre-Oliver Joseph would score to tie the game at one for the Pens. In the second period Mathew Barzal would net a pair of goals and Josh Bailey would score to give the Isles the 4-1 lead. Then in the third period Lee would net his second of the game to give the Islanders the 5-1 victory over the Penguins.

  • Dallas Stars v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
    • In Nashville the Predators would take on the Dallas Stars, and in the first period Jamie Benn would score to give the Stars the 1-0 lead. In the second period Roope Hintz would score for the Stars, but goals from Filip Forsberg and Yakov Trenin would tie the game at two for the Preds. Then in the third period Hintz would net his second of the game to give the Stars the 3-2 victory over the Predators.

  • Minnesota Wild v. Winnipeg Jets – 8p ET
    • In Winnipeg the Jets would play host to the Minnesota Wild, and in the first period Jared Spurgeon and Mats Zuccarello would score to give the Wild the 2-0 lead, but Pierre-Luc Dubois would score to get the Jets back within one. In the second period Frederick Gaudreau would score to reclaim the two goal lead for the Wild. Then in the third period Samuel Walker would score to give the Wild the 4-1 victory over the Jets.

  • Toronto Maple Leafs v. St. Louis Blues – 8p ET
    • In St. Louis the Toronto Maple Leafs would come to town to take on the Blues, and in the first period Calle Rosen would score for the Blues, but goals from Justin Holl and John Tavares would give the Leafs the 2-1 lead. In the second period Ryan O’Reilly and Justin Faulk would score for the Blues, but tallies from Alex Kerfoot and Calle Jarnkrok would keep the Leafs ahead by one. Then in the third period Jordan Kyrou would score to tie the game at four for the Blues. In overtime it would be William Nylander with the winner as the Maple Leafs would defeat the Blues 5-4.

  • Colorado Avalanche v. Arizona Coyotes – 9p ET
    • In Arizona the Coyotes would go to battle with the Colorado Avalanche, and in the first period Evan Rodrigues would score for the Avs, but goals from Shayne Gostisbehere and Lawson Crouse would give the Yotes the 2-1 lead. In the second period Cale Makar would score for the Avs, but Nick Schmaltz and JJ Moser would score to give the Yotes the two goal lead. Then in the third period Mikko Rantanen would score for the Avs, but Michael Carcone and Clayton Keller would score to give the Coyotes the 6=3 victory over the Avalanche.

  • Edmonton Oilers v. Calgary Flames – 9p ET
    • In Calgary for the third and final Battle of Alberta for the regular season the Flames would host the Edmonton Oilers, and after a scoreless first period both teams would trade tallies as Mikael Backlund would open the scoring for the Flames while Tyson Barrie would score for the Oilers for the 1-1 tie. Then in the third period Connor McDavid would score on the powerplay to give the Oilers the 2-1 victory over the Flames.

  • San Jose Sharks v. Vancouver Canucks – 10p ET
    • In Vancouver for a Reverse Retro battle the Canucks would play host to the San Jose Sharks, and in the first period Bo Horvat and Elias Pettersson would score for the Canucks to take the 2-0 lead, but Timo Meier would score to get the Sharks on the board and back within one. In the second period Ilya Mikheyev and Quinn Hughes would score to give the Canucks the 4-1 lead. Then in the third period Meier would net his second of the game for the Sharks, but goals from Horvat and Brock Boeser would give the Canucks the 6-2 victory over the Sharks.

  • Vegas Golden Knights v. Los Angeles Kings – 1030p ET
    • In Los Angeles the Kings would go to battle with the Vegas Golden Knights, and in the first period both teams would trade tallies as Gabe Vilardi would strike first for a the Kings while Michael Amadio would score for the Knights for the 1-1 tie. In the second period Brayden McNabb would take the lead for the
      Knights, but Phillip Danault would score to tie the game at two for the Kings. Then in the third period Alex Iafallo and Viktor Arvidsson would score as the Kings would defeat the Golden Knights 4-2.
