- In Montreal the Canadiens would play host to the Buffalo Sabres, and in the first period Cole Caufield would score fort he Habs, but goals from Rasmus Dahlin, JJ Peterka, and Alex Tuch would give the Sabres the 3-1 lead. In the second period both teams would trade tallies as Jeff Skinner would score for the Sabres while Sean Monahan would strike for the Habs. Then in the third period Henri Jokiharju, Tage Thompson, and Skinner would score to give the Sabres the 7-2 victory over the Canadiens.

- New York Rangers v. Los Angeles Kings – 1030p ET
- In Hollywood the New York Rangers would travel from Broadway to take on the Los Angeles Kings, and in the first period Kevin Fiala and Gabriel Vilardi would score to give the Kings the 2-0 lead. In the second period the Rangers would respond as Brandon Schneider, Vincent Trocheck, and Kaapo Kakko would score to give the Rangers the 3-2 lead. Then in the third period Sean Walker would score for the Kings to tie the game at three, but a pair of goals from Chris Kreider would give the Rangers the 5-3 victory over the Kings.
