  • New York Rangers v. Dallas Stars – 2p ET
    • In Dallas, the Rangers and Stars do battle in a matinee match-up. In the first, Dallas takes the 1-0 lead when Mason Marchment nets his fourth but then the Rangers tie it up when Chris Kreider scores his third of the season. In the second, the Rangers take the 2-1 lead when Vincent Trocheck scores his third of the year, a power play goal, but then Dallas ties the contest up when Roope Hintz nets his third of the year. Mika Zibanejad then scores his fifth of the year to give the Rangers lead once more on the power play but then the Stars tie up again when Jason Robertson scores his fourth of the year. In the third, Zac Jones scores his first career NHL goal to give the Blueshirts the 4-3 lead and then Julien Gauthier scores his first goal of the season to make it a 5-3 New York lead. Vincent Trocheck then scores his second of the night to cap the game off and give the Rangers the 6-3 win over the Stars.

  • Tampa Bay Lightning v. San Jose Sharks – 4p ET
    • In the Shark Tank, the Lightning look to strike down the Sharks. In the first, Victor Hedman scores his first of the season to make it a 1-0 Tampa bay lead but then Erik Karlsson’s fifth of the year ties it up for the Sharks. Ross Colton’s second of the year gives the Bolts the 2-1 lead. In the second, San Jose ties it up again with Nico Sturm’s fifth of the year but the Lightning take the lead once more with Alex Killorn’s second of the year. In the third, Erik Karlsson’s second goal of the game, a power play goal, ties it up but then Nikita Kucherov’s third of the year gives the Lightning the 4-3 win over the Sharks.

  • Ottawa Senators v. Florida Panthers – 4p ET
    • In Florida, the Senators look to upset the Panthers. In the first period, Florida gets a pair of goals from Carter Verhaeghe, netting his third of the year, and Aleksander Barkov, scoring his first of the season on the power play, to make it a 2-0 Panthers lead. In the second, Ottawa gets a pair of goals from Shane Pinto, scoring his sixth of the year, a power play goal, and Brady Tkachuk scoring his sixth of the year. Florida re-takes the lead when Carter Verhaeghe scores his second of the contest. In the third, Nick Holden scores his first of the season to make it a 3-3 game but then Florida re-takes the lead once more when Brandon Montour scores his third of the year. Matthew Tkachuk then puts an end to the contest once and for all when he scores his fifth goal of the year, an empty net goal, as the Panthers eek out the 5-3 win over the Senators.

  • Toronto Maple Leafs v. Los Angeles Kings – 7p ET
    • In the City of Angels, the Maple Leafs make the lone trip to Los Angeles to take on the Kings. In the first, Toronto takes the 1-0 lead when John Tavares scores on the power play, good for his fourth goal of the season. In the second, Los Angeles ties it up with Adrian Kempe’s sixth of year, a power play goal, and then the Kings take the 2-1 lead with a power play goal by Viktor Arvidsson, his second goal of the year. Gabriel Vilardi’s seventh goal of the year gives the Kings the two goal advantage. Toronto comes within a goal when Pierre Engvall nets his first of the season. In the third, Kevin Fiala’s second of the year gives the Kings the 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

  • Montreal Canadiens v. St. Louis Blues – 7p ET
    • In St. Louis, the Canadiens face off against the Blues. In the first, St. Louis takes the 1-0 lead when Jordan Kyrou strikes with his second of the year but then Montreal gets on the board when Nick Suzuki scores his fourth of the year. In the second, Noel Acciari scores his first of the year to give the Blues the 2-1 lead and then Jordan Kyrou scores his second of the night, a power play goal, to give St. Louis the two goal lead. Cole Caufield then strikes with his sixth of the year to bring the Habs within a goal and the Juraj Slafkovsky scores a power play goal, his second of the year, to tie the game for Montreal. Then, Cole Caufield scores a power play goal of his own, his second goal of the night, to give the Habs the 4-3 lead. In the third, Christian Dvorak scores a pair of goals to give the Habs the 6-3 lead. Vladimir Tarasenko nets his third of the year to bring the Blues within two but Christian Dvorak ends the game with an empty net goal, and securing the hat trick, to give the Canadiens the 7-4 win over the Blues.

  • Carolina Hurricanes v. Philadelphia Flyers – 7p ET
    • In Philadelphia, the Hurricanes and the Flyers do battle in a Metro Division match-up. In the first, Carolina gets a pair of goals when Jordan Staal scores his first and Jordan Martinook scores his second of the year. In the second, the Flyers get on the board with Nicolas Deslauriers’ first of the season and then Owen Tippett scores a power play goal, his first goal of the season, to tie it up 2-2.     • In Western New York, the Blackhawks and Sabres do battle. In the first, Victor Olofsson’s fifth of the year, a power play goal, puts the Sabres on the board but then Jason Dickinson’s third of the year, also on the power play, makes this a 1-1 contest. In the second period, the ‘Hawks take the 2-1 lead with Sam Lafferty’s third of the year and then Taylor Raddysh’s third of the year gives Chicago the two goal lead. In the third, Tage Thompson scores a pair of goals to make it a 3-3 game. In overtime, Victor Olofsson’s second of the night, a power play goal, gives the Sabres the 4-3 win over the Blackhawks.

    • In the Motor City, the Wild and Red Wings faceoff in a rivalry match-up.     • In Long Island, the Avalanche visit for the lone time on the year to take on the Islanders. After a scoreless first, Colorado gets a trio of goals when Evan Rodrigues scores two goals, one on the power play, and Mikko Rantanen scores his fourth, to take the 3-0 lead but then the Isles get on the board when Noah Dobson scores his third of the year to cut the Avalanche lead to two. Colorado then comes within a goal when Alex Newhook scores his first of the year but it is not enough as the Islanders defeat the Avalanche 5-4.

  • Washington Capitals v. Nashville Predators – 8p ET
    • In Nashville, the Capitals drop in to Music City to faceoff against the Predators. After a scoreless first, Beck Malenstyn scores his first of the year to give Washington the 1-0 lead. In the third, Aliaksei Protas nets his second of the year to give the Caps the 2-0 lead and then Alex Ovechkin’s fourth of the year, an empty netter, gives the Capitals the 3-0 win over the Predators.

  • Pittsburgh Penguins v. Seattle Kraken – 10p ET
    • In Seattle, the Penguins make the long trip to face the Kraken. After a scoreless first, Jake Guentzel scores his fourth of the year to give the Penguins the 1-0 lead but then the Kraken gets a pair of goals from Jordan Eberle, his first of the season, and Morgan Geekie, his second of the season. In the third, Jaden Schwartz scores his fifth of the year, an empty netter, as the Kraken down the Penguins 3-1.

  • Edmonton Oilers v. Calgary Flames – 10p ET
    • In the second Battle of Alberta on the season, arch rivals Edmonton and Calgary face off in the Saddledome. After a scoreless first, Calgary strikes first with a shorthanded goal from Mikael Backlund, his third of the year. Edmonton responds with Zach Hyman’s fifth goal of the year, a power play goal, but Calgary re-takes the lead with Brett Ritchie’s third of the year. In the third, Edmonton ties it up when Connor McDavid scores his ninth of the year and Zach Hyman scores the game winner, his second goal of the night, as the Oilers defeat the Flames 3-2.
