NHL Rookie of the Month – Swayman Shuts the Door for Top Honor

Today the National Hockey League has announced the Rookie of the Month for the month of February 2022.

Jeremy Swayman (G – BOS)

  • Swayman would go 5-1-1 with a 1.13 goals against average, a .960 save percentage, and two shutouts in seven games played for the Boston Bruins.
    • Swayman would face 198 shots, and turn aside 190 of them. In six of the seven games played Swayman would allow two or fewer goals.
    • Swayman edged out forwards Michael Bunting (TOR), Cole Caufield (MON), and Matt Boldy (MIN) as well as defenseman Moritz Seider (DET) for the honor.
