Today the National Hockey League announced their Three Stars of the Week for the week of January 31st through February 6th.
First Star – Claude Giroux (C – PHI)
- In the All Star Game Giroux would net three goals and four assists to guide the Metropolitan All Stars to a 2-0 record and win the All Star Game final to earn MVP honors.

Second Star – Mitch Marner (RW – TOR)
- Marner would lead the NHL with three goals and four assists in two games played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. In his first game he would net a goal and two assists in a 6-4 victory over New Jersey on Jan. 31st. Then to close out the week he would register two goals and two assists in a 7-1 victory over the Devils on Feb. 1st.

Third Star – Mason Marchment (LW – FLA)
- In two games played for the Florida Panthers Marchment would score two goals and four assists for six points. Marchment would record all six of his points in a 8-4 victory over Columbus on Jan. 31st.
