  • The NHL Department of Player Safety has fined Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey.
    • Morrissey was fined $5,000 for slashing Columbus Blue Jackets forward Alexandre Texier on Wednesday night.
    • The fine is the maximum allowed per the CBA.

  • Blue Jackets forward Max Domi was also fined by DoPS.
    • Domi was fined $5,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct during Wednesday night’s game against the Jets.
    • The fine is the maximum allowed under the CBA.

  • DoPS also fined Ottawa Senators defenseman Nikita Zaitsev.
    • Zaitsev was fined for $5,000 for cross checking San Jose Sharks forward Timo Meier on Wednesday night.
    • The fine is the maximum allowed per the CBA.
