- Morrissey was fined $5,000 for slashing Columbus Blue Jackets forward Alexandre Texier on Wednesday night.
- The fine is the maximum allowed per the CBA.
- Blue Jackets forward Max Domi was also fined by DoPS.
- Domi was fined $5,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct during Wednesday night’s game against the Jets.
- The fine is the maximum allowed under the CBA.
- DoPS also fined Ottawa Senators defenseman Nikita Zaitsev.
- Zaitsev was fined for $5,000 for cross checking San Jose Sharks forward Timo Meier on Wednesday night.
- The fine is the maximum allowed per the CBA.
