The NWHL announced today that the league is 100 days away from puck drop. The league also announced the Opening Weekend schedule for all the teams. Schedule here:
After that announcement, the Metropolitan Riveters announced that they signed a goalie for Season 7.
Season 7 will be Wolejko’s third year in the league and her first with the Riveters. She previously played for the Connecticut Whale. In her 2 seasons with the Whale, she played 25 games, posting a 2-9-1 record. In her career, so far, she’s got a 3.67 GAA and a .910 Save Percentage. She also brings playoff experience with her, as she’s posted a 1-1 record, with a 3.52 GAA and a .909 Save Percentage.
As of now, she’s on the fast track to being the starter for the Riveters, with a full season incoming.
