Big news coming out of the Riveters camp today, as they made a trio of signings today for Season 7. They have re-signed forward Theresa Knutson, forward Mallory Rushton, and defender Allie Olnowich.
This will be Knutson’s second year in the league and second year with the Riveters. In the 3 games she played for them during her rookie campaign, she scored 1 goal, which turned out to be a game winner, before the Riveters season was cut short.
This season upcoming will be Rushton’s third year in the league, and her third year with the Riveters. During her rookie year, she played 24 games, scoring once and adding 12 assists for 13 points on the year. Her lone goal that year, also happens to be a game winner. Last season, she played 3 games, where she did net a goal before the Riveters season was cut short.
This season upcoming will be Olnowich’s second year in the league and her second year with the Riveters. Although she did not register a point in the 3 games played last season, she contributed by being a presence on the blue line. She did finish the shortened season with 4 shots on goal, a minus 1 rating, and did register 1 blocked shot.
