Game Recaps

  • New York Islanders v. Boston Bruins – Game 5 – 630p ET
    • It would be a wild one in Boston as the Bruins and New York Islanders look to take the series lead. In the first period David Pastrnak would open up the scoring to give the B’s the lead, but late in the period Mathew Barzal would strike to tie the game at one. In the second period Brad Marchand would score for the Bruins, but the Isles would get goals from Kyle Palmieri, Josh Bailey, and Jordan Eberle to give the Isles the 4-2 lead. Then in the third period Pastrnak would net his second of the game and David Krejci would score for the Bruins, but a tally from Brock Nelson would give the Islanders the 5-4 victory and the 3-2 series lead.

  • Winnipeg Jets v. Montreal Canadiens – Game 4 – 8p ET
    • In Montreal the Canadiens look to close out the Winnipeg Jets with their 7th consecutive win. In the first period Erik Gustafsson and Artturi Lehkonen would score to give the Habs the 2-0 lead, but in the second period Logan Stanley would score a pair of goals to tie the game at two for the Jets. After a scoreless third period Tyler Toffoli would score 1:39 into overtime to give the Canadiens the 3-2 victory and take the series 4-0 to sweep the Jets.
