Game Highlights:
Weekly Analysis:
This was a better week overall for the Habs. They went 2-0-1 on the week and got a lot of great shots off. They also did stay out of the box a lot but when they were on the Power Play, they could not convert on any extra men advantage, except for the back to back power play goals in the game against the Senators. It was a tough and gritty game when they played against the Jets on Thursday with a lot of shots and scoring chances late in the game but the Jets would win that game in overtime. As the Habs had the re-match Saturday night, the first period started of slow and then as soon as the second period came, Montreal just opened up the floodgates. If the Canadiens play the same exact game as they did Saturday night into the games next week, Montreal should be set for the rest of the season.
