The Blues played three games this week, going 1-2. This was not a great week, but they Blues didn’t play absolutely terribly. The first game was Monday, 2/15 which was a fairly good, competitive game against the Arizona Coyotes, but ultimately the Blues could not muster any offense and fell 1-0.
After a few days off, they took on the San Jose Sharks (finally a new team), and ended up winning 3-2 in overtime, after a last minute goal to tie it by Brayden Schenn. David Perron finished it in overtime.
The Blues faced off against the Sharks again where both teams exploded on offense, with the Sharks winning 5-4. After falling down 3-0, then 4-1, the Blues tied the game up 4-4 on a great shot by Jordan Kyrou late in the second. A goal in the third by Rudolfs Balcers of the Sharks ended up being the game winner.
The Blues next game is tomorrow against the Los Angeles Kings.
