NWHL News and Notes from Monday, February 1st, 2021

  • Buffalo Beauts v. Boston Pride – 830p ET
    • In the final game of the Best of Three series between the Buffalo Beauts and Boston Pride to now decide who will get the third and fourth seeds for the semifinals, it would be a dominate performance from the Pride to earn a meeting with the Minnesota Whitecaps on Thursday. In the first period Sammy Davis would open the scoring for the Pride, and would be followed by Jillian Dempsey’s tally and Davis’ second of the game to give the Pride the 3-0 lead. Then in the second period Kristin Lewicki would get the Beauts on the board, but the Pride’s offense would keep on rolling as Meghara McManus would regain the three goal lead for the Pride. Then in the third period Lexie Laing, Mallory Souliotis, and Meaghan Rickard would all score to give the Pride the 7-1 victory.
