Whale And Riveters Get More Support In The Stands

Some news coming out of the NWHL today, specifically for the Connecticut Whale and the Metropolitan Riveters. It turns out that there will be an NHL team giving their support to both teams while they are in The Bubble in Lake Placid. Who is the NHL team? It’s none other than the New York Rangers.

25 Ranger players will be attending the Whale and Riveters games throughout their time in The Bubble. As to who they will root for will be an entirely different question.

The Riveters were previously supported by the New Jersey Devils a few seasons ago, and The Hockey Writers colleague and our friend Dan Rice had this to say:

Oh so funny, and oh so true!

There are now 18 days till NWHL hockey in Lake Placid!

TXHT will continue to provide NWHL coverage as more signings and news are announced.
