A Pair Of NWHL Announcements

There were two announcements made today from the NWHL. One for the Boston Pride and one for the Toronto Six.

Boston Pride

We’ll start with the Boston Pride, who announced today that they have re-signed defender Briana Mastel for the 2020-2021 season.

The defender played every game of the regular season, and tallied a goal and added six assists for a total of seven points on the year. She is a stalwart on defense, recording nine blocked shots, and was a plus nine on the year.

She was set to play in the Isobel Cup finals, before COVID ruined those plans. We’ll see what she’ll bring during her sophomore season in the NWHL.

Toronto Six

A huge announcement coming from the Toronto Six today as they announced where they will be playing their games this season upcoming.

Specifically, it is Canlan’s York facility that the Six will be playing at. Also, coincidentally, the facility boasts six full size rinks!

Congratulations are in order to the Toronto Six, and best of luck to you during the season!

TXHT will continue to provide NWHL coverage as more signings and news are announced.
