- The NHL has announced the Protocol for Off-Season Training ahead of the 2020-21 season.
- The Protocol will go into effect for all 31 Clubs at the conclusion of the 2020 Stanley Cup Final.
- The Protocol will be similar to Phase 2 of the 2019-20 Return to Play plan.
