- The Sabres acquire forward Eric Staal
- The Wild acquire forward Marcus Johansson
- There was no salary retained on either side.
- The Montreal Canadiens have signed defenseman Joel Edmundson to a four year deal.
- Edmundson’s new deal comes with a $3.5 million AAV.
- Edmondson was acquired from Carolina earlier this week.
