This morning reports are coming in that Peter Laviollete will become the next head coach of the Washington Capitals as reported by Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada.
It’s been reported before that Laviolette was one of three head coaches with substantial coaching experience to be interviewed by the Capitals. The other two being Gerard Gallant and Mike Babcock.
Also per reports, Laviolette has agreed to a three year deal with the Capitals, as reported by Darren Dreger if TSN.
