And the second by James van Riemsdyk:
The Islanders got one back before the period ended when Derick Brassard got his second goal in as many games.
The Islanders flipped the script in the second, scoring two goals of their own, first by Matt Martin:
Then by Anders Lee:
Philly got one back when Michael Raffl tied the game at 3.
The Islanders took the lead again when Mat Barzal made it 4-3.
Philly struck back to tie the game with a goal from Scott Laughton.
There was no scoring in the first overtime.
Then in the second overtime both teams would battle hard in both ends of the ice, but it would be an Ivan Provorov point blast to give the Flyers the 5-4 victory.
The Flyers hold on and survive to force Game 7 on Saturday.
