In the final game of the day the Blues and Canucks look to take the series lead heading into Game 6. In the first period the Canucks would find themselves shorthanded, but Tyler Motte would score during the penalty kill to give the Canucks the 1-0 lead.
However, the Blues would respond as Brayden Schenn would strike to tie the game at one, and with 29 seconds left in the period Ryan O’Reilly would score his fourth of the playoffs to give the Blues the 2-1 lead. Then in the second period Zach Sanford would score while on the powerplay to give the Blues the 3-1 lead, but the Canucks would score three unanswered goals as JT Miller, Jake Virtanen, and Motte would all find the scoresheet to give the Canucks the 4-3 victory and the 3-2 series lead.
