On defense Kris Letang led all defenders with 15 goals and 29 assists for 44 points. Justin Schultz, Jack Johnson, Brian Dumoulin, and Trade Deadline addition Evan Rodrigues will be looked to shutting down the Canadiens offense.
Between the pipes head coach Mike Sullivan will have a tough decision to make as Matt Murray has to fight for his number one spot again after going 20-11-5 with a 2.87 GAA and a .899 save percentage, while Tristan Jarry will look to be the number one going into the Qualifying Round after posting a 20-12-1 record with a 2.43 GAA and a .921 save percentage.
