News coming out of Connecticut today as the Whale signed another forward, Alyssa Wohlfeiler. She previously played for the Whale during the 2015-16 season.

The veteran Wohlfeiler will be added to the young forward core that the Whale have. She comes with plenty of experience.

When the NWHL got started, she would join the Connecticut Whale, and in her lone season she would play 17 games and tally 3 goals and add 4 assists for 7 points on the year. She would not re-sign with the Whale, instead opting the European leagues.

She played 1 season in the SDHL for HV71, and she would also play in the Frauen-Bundesliga for EC Bergkamener Bären before returning to the NWHL to play for the Boston Pride.

Last season, she would play 14 games for the Pride and would score 5 goals and add 11 assists for a total of 16 points.
