Today in the National Women’s Hockey League the Buffalo Beauts added a trio of players for the 2020-21 season.
Daley Returns
- The Buffalo Beauts have re-signed defender Meg Daley for the 2020-21 season after appearing in 16 games for the Beauts in rookie season last year.
- In her 16 games played, Daley registered one goal and had five assists for six points.
- Delay is a 2018 Clarkson Cup champion with the Markham Thunder of the CWHL.
Flagg Comes to Buffalo
- Caty Flagg joins the Beauts to guard the net in Buffalo after ending her collegiate career with UMass Boston.
- In her senior season, Flagg would go 12-11-3 with a 1.84 goals against average, and a .942 save percentage.
- In her collegiate career, Flagg had a 1.92 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.
Van Pelt Adds Faceoff Punch
- Neve Van Pelt, an Ontario native, played for Providence for four years from 2016-2020 where she would play 146 games.
- Van Pelt would register 17 goals and 25 assists for 42 points, and won more than half of her faceoffs each season with the Friars.
Pride Announce Equipment Sponsor
- The Boston Pride have announced that STÄRK Hockey as the official equipment sponsor for the 2020-21 season.
- STÄRK will be providing the players with customized sticks to each player’s specifications in regards to grip, curve and other personal preferences.
- STÄRK will also be providing the players with Pride branded hockey gloves and hockey pants for on the ice.
- And for travel STÄRK will be providing personalized equipment, travel, and stick bags.
