First Overall Goes to…
Nobody knows because it’s going to a team that’s in the 2020 Stanley Cup Tournament.
The official Draft order is as follows:
1. Place Holder
2. Los Angeles Kings
3. Ottawa Senators via SJ
4. Detroit Red Wings
5. Ottawa Senators
6. Anaheim Ducks
7. New Jersey Devils
8. Buffalo Sabres
So What Does This Mean?
So what this means is that once the Play In has been completed and we know which teams didn’t make it to the first round of the Stanley Cup Tournament there will be another Draft Lottery between those teams to decide who will select first overall, and boy does this have a massive odor to it.
