News from The Pod today, as the Whale sign their 2nd round pick of the 2020 NWHL draft, defender Victoria Howran.
1 (7) – Connecticut – D Victoria Howran, University of New Hampshire
Victoria Howran is from Bancroft, Ontario. The defender played for 4 years of college hockey at the University of New Hampshire. She was the captain of the team in her senior year. She scored 7 goals and added 48 assists for a total of 55 points.
The defender is the 3rd blue liner signed for next season, she will join Captain Shannon Doyle, and veteran NWHL defender Elena Orlando on the back end this upcoming season!
