Big news for the Connecticut Whale today as they re-signed their top point producer Kaycie Anderson. She will be returning to The Pod for her fourth season!
in 2018-2019, Anderson only played 6 games and unfortunately didn’t register a point. This season was definitely a comeback season, as she played 24 games for the Whale. In which, she scored 3 goals and added 8 assists for 11 points on the year. The 11 points was tied for the team lead with the captain, Shannon Doyle.
Though not named an All Star this past season, I can’t help but feel that she is trending in the right direction, it can not be stated enough what a key contributor she was all season long.
With this signing, the Whale have brought back their leading goal scorer (Vlasic), their top point getter (Anderson), their top defender (Doyle), and their top goalie (Wolejko)!
TXHT will continue to provide NWHL coverage as more signings and news are announced.
