Today in the NWHL the signings for the 2020-21 season continue as the Minnesota Whitecaps sign their first player.
Thunstrom Returns for Third Season
- All Star forward Allie Thunstrom has re-signed for her third season with the Whitecaps in the NWHL.
- Thunstrom is the 2019-20 Co-MVP, and in 24 regular season games played would record an NWHL high of 24 goals, and she would also tally 12 assists for 36 points.
- Thunstrom is a 2020 NWHL Foundation Award recipient, and also a 2020 NWHL All Star.
- Thunstrom would score the lone goal in overtime to help the Whitecaps advance past the Riveters to go to the Isobel Cup Finals.
