News:

  • The Calgary Flames announced that General Manager Brad Treliving received and accepted Bill Peters resignation as Head Coach. Geoff Ward will serve as the interim head coach.

 

Game Recaps:

New York Rangers v. Boston – 1p EST Start Time

In Boston the Bruins would take on the New York Rangers for an early Black Friday matinee. In the first period Pavel Buchnevich would score his fifth of the season to give the Rangers the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Filip Chytil would strike for the Rangers to take the two goal lead, but late in the period Sean Kuraly would score for the Bruins to cut the deficit back to one. In the third period David Pastrnak would score to tie the game at two and send it to overtime. Then in overtime it would be David Krejci sealing the deal for the Bruins as they would complete the comeback and win 3-2.

 

Winnipeg Jets v. Anaheim Ducks – 4p EST Start Time

In Anaheim the Winnipeg Jets would ground the Ducks. The Jets would get second period goals from Neal Pionk (PPG) and Nikolaj Ehlers to take the 2-0 lead. Then in the third period Kyle Connor would score to secure the Jets the 3-0 shutout victory.

 

Los Angeles Kings v. San Jose Sharks – 4p EST Start Time

The San Jose Sharks would black out the Los Angeles Kings at home as they would get first period goals from Patrick Marleau and Marc-Eduoard Vlasic to take the 2-0 lead. Then in the second period Noah Gregor and Logan Couture to take a commanding 4-0 lead after 40 minutes. However, the Kings would get on the board with a Kyle Clifford tally, but the Sharks would hold on to win 4-1.

 

Colorado Avalanche v. Chicago Blackhawks – 4p EST Start Time

In Chicago the Colorado Avalanche would take down the Blackhawks. In the first period the Avalanche would get goals from Nathan MacKinnon, Ryan Graves, and Cale Makar (PPG) while the Blackhawks would get their lone goal from Zack Smith as the Avalanche took a 3-1 lead into the first intermission. Then in the second period Valeri Nichushkin and JT Compher would tally for Colorado to take the 5-1 lead. Patrick Kane would score late in the second period, but the Avalanche would hold on to win 5-2.

 

Ottawa Senators v. Minnesota Wild – 4p EST Start Time

In Minnesota the Ottawa Senators would get the jump on the Wild as Nick Paul would score in the first period to take the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Brady Tkachuk would score his ninth of the season for the Senators, but the Wild would strike for three goals as Ryan Donato, Jared Spurgeon, and Zach Parise would all tally to take the 3-2 lead into the second intermission. Then in the third period the Wild would maul the Senators for four goals as Luke Kunin, Ryan Hartman, Eric Staal (PPG), and Jason Zucker would all tally to take the 7-2 victory.

 

Toronto Maple Leafs v. Buffalo Sabres – 4p EST Start Time

In Buffalo the Sabres played host to the Toronto Maple Leafs and it would be the Leafs getting the first goal as John Tavares would strike for the 1-0 lead. Then in the second period Tavares would score his second of the game for the Leafs, but the Sabres would get goals from Jeff Skinner, Jack Eichel, Casey Mittelstadt, and Victor Olofsson to take the 4-2 lead into the second intermission. Then in the third period the Leafs would get goals from Dmytro Timashov and Kasperi Kapanen, but the Sabres would respond with goals from Jimmy Vesey and Jack Eichel (second of the game) to take the 6-4 victory.

 

Detroit Red Wings v. Philadelphia Flyers – 4p EST Start Time

In Philadelphia the Flyers would trample the Detroit Red Wings. Despite getting a first period tally from Robby Fabbri to get the Wings on the board, the Flyers would get goals from Scott Laughton and Shayne Gostisbehere (PPG) to take the 2-1 lead. Then in the second period Sean Couturier would score to give the Flyers the two goal lead, but in the third period Kevin Hayes, Oskar Lindbolm, and James van Riemsdyk would score to give the Flyers the 6-1 victory.

 

Tampa Bay Lightning v. Washington Capitals – 5p EST Start Time

The Washington Capitals completed the comeback as TJ Oshie would lead the way with three assists as they defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 in overtime. TXHT Recap

 

Arizona Coyotes v. Vegas Golden Knights – 6p EST Start Time

In Vegas the Golden Knights and Arizona Coyotes would face off in a tightly contested matchup. After a scoreless first period the Knights would strike first on the powerplay with an Alex Tuch powerplay goal, but the Coyotes would respond with a Jakob Chychrun tally to tie the game at one. After a scoreless third period and extra five minutes of overtime, this game would require the shootout. In the shootout the Knights would secure the victory as Tuch would score on the last chance of the third round to secure the 2-1 victory.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins v. Columbus Blue Jackets – 7p EST Start Time

In Columbus the Blue Jackets would take on the Pittsburgh Penguins, and in the first period the Jackets would strike first with a Gustav Nyquist marker, but the Penguins would get on the board with a Jake Guentzel tally to tie the game at one. Then in the second period the Jackets would get goals from Nick Foligno (EVS and PPG) and Nyquist (second of the game, PPG) to take a 4-1 lead. In the third period Kris Letang would score for the Penguins, but Nyquist would cap off the hat trick as the Blue Jackets would go on to defeat the Penguins 5-2.

 

Nashville Predators v. Carolina Hurricanes – 730p EST Start Time

In Carolina the Nashville Predators would come to town to tame the Hurricanes. In the first period Rocco Grimaldi and Calle Jarnkrok would strike for the Predators to take the 2-0 lead. Then in the second period Austin Watson would score the third goal for the Predators who would hold on to defeat the Hurricanes 3-0.

 

St. Louis Blues v. Dallas Stars – 830p EST Start Time

STL RoadDAL Home

In Dallas the Stars took on the St. Louis Blues, and in the first period it would be the Blues striking first as Colton Parayko would score his second of the season to take the 1-0 lead. Then after a scoreless second period the Stars would tie up the game at one with a Roope Hintz tally, but the Blues would respond with goals from Ryan O’Reilly and Ivan Barbashev to take the 3-1 victory.
