Game Recaps:
New Jersey Devils v. Montreal Canadiens – 730p EST Start Time
For the lone Thanksgiving matchup the New Jersey Devils would visit the Montreal Canadiens, and in the first period Blake Coleman would strike first for the Devils to take the 1-0 lead, but Brendan Gallagher would tie the game at one for the Canadiens. However, Travis Zajac would score to retake the lead for the Devils as they headed into the first intermission. Then in the second period Jesperi Kotkaniemi would tie the game at two for the Canadiens to start the period, however, Miles Wood and Jesper Boqvist would strike for the Devils, and Joel Armia would also tally for the Canadiens as the Devils took the 4-3 lead into the second intermission. Then in the third period Artturi Lehkonen would strike for the Canadiens, but goals Damon Severson and Blake Coleman (second of the game) would score for the Devils as they took the 6-4 victory.
