Today the Washington Capitals have announced that they have re-signed forward Jakub Vrana to a two year deal worth $6.7 million. Vrana will carry an AAV of $3.35 million per season.
Vrana, 23, set career highs in all three offensive categories scoring 24 goals, grabbing 23 assists for a total of 47 points last season and ranked third on the team in goals.
Vrana is slated to be on the second line next season with TJ Oshie and Nicklas Backstrom.
